Bartolomeo Tirloni
Master degree in Physic at Milan University (1993).
I join the Pirelli Group firstly in Optical Fiber R&D (1996-2001) and subsequently in the Industrial Property Department (2001-2006), where I take care of IP licensing and patent drafting and prosecution.
I pass, in the same year (2006) and as a first sitter, both the European Qualification Examination (EQE) to act as European Patent Attorney before the EPO, and the Italian Qualification Examination to act as Italian Patent Attorney before the Italian Patent and Trademark Office. In year 2017 I also pass the Italian Qualification Examination to act as Italian Trademark Attorney.
I join Bugnion Firm (2007-2016), where I assume the position of head of Brescia Office and head of Foreign Patent Office.
In year 2016 I found the BTA firm, where I work as sole administrator, along a project of growth by internal training of talented young professionals, to become a point of reference in the IP field for the local industry.
Skills: patents, models, trademarks, designs, unfair competition, copyrigth.
Activity: prior art search, patent drafting and prosecution, patentability study, validity study, infringment and freedom to operate study, EPO patent oppositions, UIBM and EUIPO TM oppositions and cancellations, appeals, patent expert in Italian trials, negotiation and drafting of IP agreements (NDA, licences, etc).
Technical skills: mechanics, optics, telecommunication, nanotechnology, software.
